About the Recipe
You know that moment when you open the fridge and realise you're out of salad dressing? Or worse, you pick up the bottle and spot all those unpronounceable ingredients on the back? Well, I've got you sorted!
This gorgeous creamy herb dressing is about to become your absolute go-to. It takes literally 5 minutes to whip up, uses ingredients you probably already have hanging about in your pantry, and tastes absolutely divine on just about everything – salads, roasted veggies, grain bowls, you name it.
What I love most about making your own dressings is that you're in control. No hidden sugars, no weird preservatives, just real, wholesome ingredients that actually nourish your body. Plus, with the addition of flaxseed oil, you're getting a lovely dose of omega-3s (hello, anti-inflammatory goodness!), and the apple cider vinegar brings its own health perks to the party.
The best bit? This dressing keeps beautifully in a jar in the fridge for up to a week, so you can batch-prep it on Sunday and have one less thing to think about during those busy weeknights. Perfect for supporting those healthy eating habits we're all working on building!
Ready to give it a go? Let's get mixing!

Ingredients
3 tbsp vinegar (apple cider or white wine)
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp flaxseed oil
2 tbsp crème fraiche/thick Greek yoghurt/thick coconut yogurt
1 tbsp wholegrain/Dijon mustard
½ tsp salt and pepper
½ tsp garlic powder or 1 crushed clove
1-2 tsp dried herbs of your choice
Preparation
Place all the ingredients in a jar, screw on the lid and shake well. Store in the fridge.
TIP:
If using crème fraiche, add a little milk to thin out the dressing to your preferred consistency.
If you find the vinegar too strong just reduce how much you put in.
