Kerry holds a Level 6 Diploma in Nutrition from Wellpark College of Natural Therapies here in New Zealand, and is a clinical nutritionist. She has focused her practice specifically on supporting women through peri-menopause and menopause, combining evidence-based nutritional science with a whole-person, holistic approach.Kerry is also an approved MyMT™ Menopause Weight Loss Coach
Very much so! While Kerry's four-pillar approach to nutrition, sleep, movement, and mindset is great for any woman who wants to feel better in her body, the heart of Habits For Health is supporting women aged 35 and over who are navigating peri-menopause and menopause. If you're dealing with things like fatigue, brain fog, weight changes, disrupted sleep, or mood swings, you're absolutely in the right place.
Yes, and the research backs this up! What you eat has a real and meaningful impact on how your hormones behave, how well you sleep, your energy levels, your mood, and your long-term health. Kerry works with you to use food as a tool to help ease symptoms naturally, rather than just managing them. It's not a magic fix, but the right nutritional support can make a genuinely noticeable difference to how you feel day to day.
Not at all. Kerry's approach works beautifully alongside whatever path you've chosen for your health, whether that includes HRT, other medications, or a fully natural route. She's here to complement your care team, not replace them. She'll always encourage you to keep your GP in the loop too.
Your first session is a chance for Kerry to get to know you properly. She’ll look at your symptoms, health history, eating patterns, sleep, stress, and goals, then build a personalised plan around realistic changes you can actually stick with. You’ll focus on nutrition, sleep, movement, and mindset — without the overwhelm.
A GP is brilliant for diagnosis and medical care, but appointments are often short. Kerry’s sessions give you more time, more personal support, and a whole-person focus. She works with you on food, lifestyle habits, and mindset so you can make changes that feel realistic and sustainable.
Habits For Health takes a gentle, holistic view of wellbeing. Instead of strict rules or all-or-nothing plans, you get practical guidance, compassion, and support that helps you make changes you can actually keep.
Yes — you can work with Kerry online via Zoom or in person in Mount Wellington, Auckland. Either way, you’ll get personalised support, so you can choose the option that suits you best.
Kerry’s current hours are Friday 9:00am–7:00pm and Saturday 10:00am–2:00pm. If you’re not sure what suits, just get in touch and she’ll let you know what’s available.
The easiest way to begin is by booking a free 30-minute discovery call. It’s a relaxed chat where you can share what’s going on, ask questions, and see whether Kerry feels like the right fit for you. You can book through the website, or contact us by phone or email.
Yes! There are online resources available to help you start building better habits between sessions. Head to the Online Resources section of the website to have a look at what's available.
Fatigue, brain fog, weight gain and mood changes can be caused by perimenopause, but they can also be caused by thyroid issues, iron deficiency or insulin resistance, and these often overlap. The best first step is asking your GP for a full thyroid panel, iron studies including ferritin, and a fasting glucose and insulin test. Read our full blog for the details: HERE
